Programs
Adult Education
Our adult education groups includes an ongoing spirituality discussion group, Bible studies, and more. We also periodically have ad hoc groups and/or retreats for those interested. Details are offered in The Incarnation Monthly, the church’s newsletter, and on the “Refrigerator Page” of the weekly bulletin or by contacting Pastor Dean at pr.dsafe@gmail.com.
Upcoming Bible Study
Pastor Dean is planning a monthly, 9-session journey through the Bible via queer lenses. Throughout our time together, we’ll spend time looking at queer characters in Scripture, re-interpret the “clobber passages” and engage in reflective readings of selected texts. Pastor Dean is looking forward to engaging in these ancient texts with us and bringing another avenue for reading them in a helpful way. If you are interested in participating, please contact Pastor Dean at pr.dsafe@gmail.com.
Spirituality Discussion Group
This group meets on the second and fourth Mondays of the month from 1:30-3:00pm. The group sets topics as it moves along, focusing on what spirituality means, how experienced and expressed, especially among Incarnation members who come to Incarnation from many faiths.
The Why Knot Group
The Why Knot Group, made up of knitters, crocheters, and hand workers of all kinds, meets the first Tuesday of the month at 1:00pm to sit together with our projects of all kinds...some old ones found in closets just waiting for sweet inspiration, some good company to bring them back to life, and some new ones just getting started. Our levels are of a wide variety with us all chiming in sharing our knowledge and support with each other as well as sharing our lives a bit. So why knot join us? It’s great fun!
