Support Our Work

We're grateful for your monetary support of our ministry during these challenging times.

Ways to Give

  • In Person

In accordance with COVID safety protocols, you'll find the collection plate in the chapel.

  • Online

The Episcopal Diocese of Michigan allows us to accept online donations through their site using your credit, debit card, or Paypal account. Click here to make your donation, and use the drop-down menu to select Episcopal Church of the Incarnation. If you'd like your donation to go to a specific purpose, there's a text field after the drop-down menu where you can designate how you'd like your gift to be used (you can find a list of designated funds below). The Diocese distributes online donations to the designated congregations every Monday.

  • Donate by automatic transfer from your bank (ACH)

To set up an electronic gift from your bank account directly to our bank, please contact Tasha Pohrt at: episcopalchurchaa@gmail.com with your phone number. Tasha will call you with the relevant information. (Note: for security reasons, we can’t send our banking information by email.)

  • Donate by check/have your bank or credit union send a check

You can also either give by check yourself or use your bank or credit union’s online bill pay service to send a check to Incarnation. *Please send your check to:

Episcopal Church of the Incarnation,

3257 Lohr Rd.

Ann Arbor MI, 48108

*If you’d like your gift to be used for a specific purpose, please let us know in the memo line of your check. OR, if you use your bank or credit union’s bill pay feature, please email Tasha Pohrt at episcopalchurchaa@gmail.com to let her know how you would like your gift to be used.

We are accepting donations to the following funds:

  • The General Fund:

This fund pays our staff and takes care of the other necessities (postage, website, utilities) that nurture our collective life.

  • COVID-19 Response Fund:

A special fund to support members of the ECI community who are in crisis because of the COVID pandemic, either directly as a health issue or indirectly due to job loss or other economic hardship.

  • Building & Grounds

This fund pays for repairs and maintenance of our building and grounds and is sometimes used for special projects related to our physical space, for example the recent purchase of a dishwasher to allow us to significantly reduce our use of paper and plastic during after-church social hours and other events.

  • Carbon Footprint/Solar Project

Our project to reduce our carbon footprint by upgrading our building’s insulation and installing air-source heat pumps and both solar panels.

Note: If you want to give for a specific purpose not listed above, you can still give online! Just make your donation to the general fund and then email our bookkeeper, Tasha Pohrt, at episcopalchurchaa@gmail.com with the date of your donation, amount, and how you would like us to use it.
